The Mid Sussex Land Rover Club is a friendly, informal, NON competitive club which gets together at 8pm on the second Tuesday of every month, at The Black Lion, Patcham at 8pm. (on the A23 just off the A27 approaching Brighton)
The members enjoy off-roading in the form of green laning and local off-road sites. We try to arrange at least one green lane trip each month plus a visit to one of the sites.
As a club we are lucky to have a great number of green lanes all within an hours radius but we also venture further afield. Long weekend trips have been organised to Mid-Wales, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire and some members have even ventured as far as Moab, Utah USA, for a week of slick-rock Jeep driving.
We also try and put together non Land Rover activities to encourage partners and other family members to get involved. Meals out, Barbeques, camping trips and attending most of the main Land Rover Shows have all proved popular.
As with all clubs and organisations there is a vast wealth of knowledge and experience of all things 4x4. With this in mind, there is always someone readily available to give advice when needed or sometimes even practical help.
Potential new members are always welcome to come along to the pub meetings to see what we're all about. If anyone wants to join one of the green lane outings or come along to one of the off-road sites but doesn't want to use their own vehicle for fear of damage, then there's usually someone with a seat or two spare to give a lift.
Members are kept informed of forth coming events via e-mail as this keeps costs to virtually zero. Because of this, as of yet, there is no cost to becoming a member so anyone interested please feel free to e-mail and leave your details.
